For years, LAMC 41.18 has criminalized people experiencing homelessness for sitting or sleeping in public, leading to citations, lost medications, and barriers that can keep people from getting housed.

Today, we introduced motions to repeal the 12 revocable 41.18 zones in District 13. 🧵

Raman up 3.5 points on Pratt (up 29,550 votes total).

Bass: +636 (26.29%)
Raman: +843 (34.85%)
Pratt: +661 (27.33%)

For context Pratt did better here than last week since we have a higher % of provisional/conditional votes from in person but it’s a tiny update of votes w/ just a bit of VBM left

A Hampton Inn in Asheville just canceled my family's reservation because our address (incorrectly) showed Asheville—and the hotel bars locals within 50 miles.

When I asked why, they said, "because of our homeless population," adding that most hotels here have similar policies.

This is outrageous.
