Trans rights is inherently a bodily autonomy issue. Just like abortion rights is. We can't have gender equity or reproductive freedom without trans rights. Full stop.

You can yell at me and make up shit that you claim I've said if it makes you feel better. I don't care. I'm right. And you know it.

Serj Tankian collaborating on a song with an abusive transphobic pedophile has just depleted me of all happiness tonight.

Yikes, if this is accurate, its basically the owner class using their power to shut down dissent. The Patriots Robert Kraft told Sheerhan his concert would be cancelled if Mackelmore stayed on the your, and that other stadium owners would follow suit.
Banned: Macklemore's powerful statement deserves reading.

a coalition stands together, that's how it generates and wields power in the political arena. on top of being basic human decency, standing up for trans people is politically expedient.
We're being told that if we sacrifice the rights of some people, then the rest of us get to keep our rights.

We all know that's some BS.

*shocked* that we didn't see two reds in that interaction. Both City and United should be down a man. Two acts of violent conduct. VAR checks, and somehow one gets a red and one gets nothing? Crazy.

Catching up on today's Nintendo direct, and my biggest takeaway is that Nintendo is *really* crushing their cover art for Switch 2 games, right now.

CDE: GotG is a great game and we are proud of it, but we dropped it around the same time as a lot of great competition and it tanked, so we are hoping a Switch 2 Edition will give it nla new...

CDE: We are dropping this the same day as the Ocarina of Time remake, right before GTA VI releases...

*Please* let this Apothecary Diaries game be an Ace Attorney clone.

Also, if you aren't watching Apothecary Diaries, get on that. Probably the best anime of the last handful of years.

Bad 40th Anniversary celebration, very weird but good Ocarina of Time Remake presentation.

The Zelda movie getting a title reveal and nothing else is hysterical, though.

I have never had my excitement for a game dry up as quickly as it did when a ProbablyMonsters dev said that Nekome: Nazi Hunter isn't political.

It's a spineless choice - but hey - here is my interview:

Can Nazi hunting game where you seek vengeance and burn propaganda not have a political message? Nekome: Nazi Hunter developers seems to think so.

If you are a critic, writer, or journalist and I follow you, please know it is because I like your writing style and can trust you *to be honest* and not because I agree with with every fucking opinion you have.

Please, please understand that.
An "arithmetic" system that declares critics "untrustworthy" if they don't share the majority opinion makes me want to vomit.

This is not how you foster honest reviews or better critics.

This is how you stamp out dissent.
Call me old fashioned, but maybe the point of reviews and critics isn’t just which ones line up with the majority

Most companies only observe the minimum amount, federal holidays, which are:

New Year's Day (Jan)
Memorial Day (May)
Independence Day (July)
Labor Day (Sep)
Thanksgiving Day (Nov)
Christmas Day (Dec)

If the holiday falls on the weekend, the company is not required to give you the adjacent Fri/Mon.
