Glad 60 Minutes is doing a Jacob Wohl story literally nine years after I reported on that guy. One time he was pretending a scam website he was running wasn't his, so I called the number on the website and it went to his mom's voicemail. Jacob is like training wheels for investigative journalists.

my neighborhood 7-11 closed a couple years ago and tried to reopen but couldn’t get the permit approved because there’s a preschool next door and 7-11s sell alcohol (the previous permit was grandfathered in). i saw a fence going up around the lot recently and looked up what was moving in: a gun shop

I just watched It Was Just an Accident, one of a growing number of movies I've bought Criterion releases of sight-unseen. Definitely one of the better ones that falls into that category.
