One thing I wasn’t a fan of in Matrix 4 were the bots. Kind of gave the, “good in many, but masters of none” vibe. Agents were introduced as impossible to kill and a true threat for the red pills. The bots seemed more as an annoyance than a true threat. Hope Matrix 5 brings Agents back.

The thing I really liked that came from The Odyssey release is all these behind the scenes of the process of cutting and projecting film. When I was in film school, the semester I was supposed to learn to shoot and edit on film was cut in favor of digital only.

This is a great video! I’m also surprised at the amount of people that claim compositing is CGI… Heavy… Heavy facepalm 🤦

Being reunited with this camera has given me an idea. I’ve had a personal YouTube channel since the very early days of YouTube. Mostly just posted demo reels and personal projects. Now, I think I’m going to post more camera & gear videos. My parents said I should teach, this is the closest I’ll get

Watching the Netflix Avatar series. Is it just me or is the editing a bit “off?” It feels rushed and jagged in many places. Is it because of keeping episodes to an arbitrary runtime? If so, why is that still a thing for streaming services?

Probably why I felt nothing for many movies that have been pushed out lately. It’s just sequels or have the personalities of a block of wood.
