We just received notice that our leadership will not voluntarily recognize our union. They are resorting to common tactics to downplay our union, trying to claim that only "some of us" want to, despite us presenting them with the signed cards more than a supermajority of us.

One reason Republicans are banning books and classes on race is because reading even one book about Jim Crow or Reconstruction makes it clear that they are hoping to reinstate segregation.

I'm disappointed that our leadership failed to recognize the Arena union today, but I remain optimistic. Voluntary recognition remains an option, and if it comes to an election, I'm confident we'll win.

Today has come and gone and we have heard no response from our leadership about recognizing our union. It makes me sad, but I am unfortunately not surprised. We have been voicing our concerns for years and have been roundly ignored, or told that if we have issues, we should leave the company.
