My aunt Dorothy passed away yesterday.
She was the last of my father’s family, and I sadly hadn’t seen her since his funeral in ‘23.
My condolences to my cousins on the loss of their mother. I’ll miss her too.

We had a celebration of life today for a local country guitar legend. He and his wife used to always sing this Waylon Jennings tune together and I loved it, so during the jam session I had to throw it in - in memory of Joey Lee.

In 2001 I was living with my girlfriend. One night we arrived home late, probably from the NAMM show or something. I turned the tv on to watch a few quick minutes before bed, and a Time/Life commercial came on (remember those?).

Grateful for all the happiness this absolute legend gave the world. She’s what my friends and I call a never-bad. To be the best thing in just about everything you’ve been in for 45+ years is incredible. RIP Catherine O’Hara.
