Did trump just watched the Silo and decided to go all in on Iran, because he thought it was a prediction?

Ffs hey.com is doing agents accessible cli instead of, you know, SUPPORTING IMAP AND SMTP

A delightfully fresh take on email + calendar, from 37signals
Gmail, Outlook, and Apple got complacent and took their eye off the ball. Then along came HEY.

I’m just getting back home tomorrow, and today I see that Pogi is no more on Vuelta 😭. I would like someone else than Pogi to win, but not like this

How does it happen? I just wanted to build easy to use and secure app for capital gains tax calculation, and now I see at least 2 other apps available. But my focus is not the competitors. CGT must be free! My focus is to make it privacy-first. No one should have access to your data apart from you

This one was tough — trying to figure out how to store SQLite db in the browser's OPFS layer, and how to actually be able to open multiple tabs with the same DB
Happy friday! New blog post shipped just now: mycgt.ie/blog/2026-07...

Issue I had with my initial design is finally resolved — now user's data is stored fully in the browser as SQLite.

Then browser will just encrypt the data and send it to the server to sync between clients.

Why we moved storage into the browser (and rebuilt it on CRDTs) — MyCGT Blog
Encrypted blobs can't be filtered, paged, or recalculated on the server. So we moved the data — and the querying — into the browser. Here's the redesign, and the patterns worth stealing.

Or you can answer me this.

(we don't have polls in bsky yet, or ever)
I wonder, what is important for you in terms of privacy and zero knowledge (by server) in your tax helper tool?

1. Encrypt everything, full zero knowledge
2. Only encrypt quantities and amounts, and having server to know asset type, transaction date, asset name is acceptable
3. Something in between

Here's what I've been up to for the last month #ireland #cgt #buildinpublic
For the past month I've been building MyCGT — a free Irish CGT calculator that handles multi-currency properly and fills in your actual tax return forms (e.g. Form CG1).

Zero-knowledge: data is encrypted in browser. I can't read it.

Building it in public from today. Story so far 🧵 #buildinpublic

Reminder that almost half of those convicted in recent British anti-migrant "protests" (supposedly about the safety of women & children) had previous form for domestic violence. It was over 60% in Bristol - how high in Citywest? www.thelondoneconomic.com/news/uk-riot...
Almost half of convicted 2024 UK rioters 'previously reported for domestic abuse'
Though its argued that the UK riots of 2024 emerged from 'legitimate grievances', this data does little to support the claim.
