Ofgem's own breakdown says gas is doing nearly all of it. Gas bills up 8%. Homes without gas, under 1%.

speechless. at this point, we're talking $7/gal diesel again becoming a possibility in the days ahead in more places, specifically Great Lakes- MI, IN, OH, IL (less so WI- lower taxes)

Diesel prices have also escalated in last month as IRAN WAR escalates. Diesel price over $6 and this will raise the price of every retail item as trucking has to pay this to ship input and output goods

So you're saying that increased oil production is the main driver in the US, leading directly to increased production of associated gas, which is sold more cheaply than gas from gas wells, and the growth is keeping supply and demand in check at the domestic level?

European gas is above €82/MWh - the highest since late 2022. Hormuz remains largely shut and gas storage is at 68% going into winter.
None of this started in Europe but we pay for it.
The only exit is using less gas. Heat pumps, electrified industry, insulation.
