Good to know that all other problems in the UK have been solved leaving MPs the time to discuss Eurovision.

Good to know that all other problems in the UK have been solved leaving MPs the time to discuss Eurovision.
I was ready to criticise MPs for investigating stupid stuff, but then I read "The hearing will be part of the committee's State of Play inquiry, where members of the public can request an evidence session to be held into a particular subject that interests them" www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

I think attitudes to Eurovision can be quite separate from attitudes to other European institutions. Recent boycotts haven't meant that Spanish or Irish public broadcasters were less interested in Europe.
