Nine months in prison, followed by a presidential pardon, for a cold-blooded assassination. Maybe there are more effective ways to communicate absolute disregard for Palestinian humanity, but this will have to do.

At one point in the film, as an interviewee explained the rules of engagement, Abraham said, “But if you can kill 20 people per junior member, and there are tens of thousands of members …” To which the man responded, “You end up with all of Gaza, yes.”

Opinion | Why Israel Fears This Searing New Documentary (Gift Article)
It’s hard to tell whether Israelis are enraged by “NAZA” because they think it’s full of lies, or because they know or fear it’s true.

There are so many things wrong in this article, let me focus on two: on the perverse logic argument against sanctions, and on the betrayal of Israel's human rights and anti-occupation activists.

Genocide is Genocide no matter the group targeted

Genocide is Genocide no matter the perpetrators

Palestinian people & Trans people are both facing Genocide from America & Isreal

Israel’s furious reaction to a *movie* has really surprised me. Then again, Ukraine had a similar reaction. I don’t truly think these countries can be considered democratic allies if press freedom is so alien to them.
NAZA: Why are old Gaza allegations causing new fury in Israel?
Israeli soldiers' Gaza testimony causes backlash across much of the country's political establishment.

I'm mildly worried this whole thing could be setting up an "october surprise." The Israeli presidential election 27 October may be as consequential as the US midterms a few days later. #AISafety #AIEthics

Almost no one has seen NAZA yet, but almost everyone has something to say about it.
