Last week a subscriber kindly wrote to reproach us that in our Pisa analysis we had not addressed what he considers one of the biggest problems in education, the selection of teachers. We were on it, Joaquín; you got ahead of us in your email, but here is what you asked for. The issue, complex, does not come from nowhere. We had been waiting to discuss this since, in the summer, the Government announced that it would form a panel to negotiate the change with the unions. We told you a week ago that this is one of the educational reforms that the Ministry of Education has somehow imposed for this last term of the legislature.
