I don't believe a word of what #Burnham says about RAF #Fairford / #Iran. I believe this is a face saving gesture on a bungled police operation started by a crank caller. Of course I could be wrong. If there is evidence, let's see it. It smells of WMD and #Trump leaning on Britain to save face.

In case people are not fully across the Fairford story:

What appears to have happened is that five men from London went to a small country village in the middle of the night to siphon fuel for resale.

In small country villages, people notice things, especially at 1am. A farmer called the police.
