Trump rules out pre-midterm strikes

President Donald Trump said the United States would not strike Iran before November’s midterm elections, citing what he called productive discussions with Tehran and denying reports of new attack plans. The U.S. military has drafted options for three days of strikes, and the blockade of Iranian ports remains in place.

Drone-enabled counterforce strikes against strategic bombers is now something that US, Russia, China have to take seriously.

Bombers are vulnerable, esp without hard shelters, and their relatively limited numbers mean that a successful strike against even one base can have a big impact.
