Bij Spraakmakers zei Kees Boonman dat het gebruik van het woord #vijand historisch gezien vaak de geesten rijp maakt voor oorlog, en dat DY dit eigenhandig deed, zonder overleg met minister BuZa. Deze blijkt nu het woord te vermijden: noemt Rusland consequent “onze grootste veiligheidsdreiging”.
Rusland wel de vijand noemen, maar direct roepen dat dit geen andere aanpak betekent. Lege retoriek.
Als je een vijand erkent, moet je er ook naar handelen. Zelfs na alles wat er is gebeurd, durft Nederland nog steeds niet door te pakken.
