If anyone is watching news coverage of Harry Kane winning the Ballon d’or, and wondering who the lady next to him also holding a trophy that GMB did not mention once is, her name is Alexia Putellas, one of the greatest footballers of all time.

Would it have hurt you to mention her?

Some thoughts here for @sport.theguardian.com on the majestic Alexia Putellas' record-equalling third #BallonDor plus Joan Laporta's Freudian slip and why the organisers - despite progress - still haven't quite managed to deliver full parity for the women's game.
