Temperatures in Germany reached as high as 41°C, with little nighttime relief, and the German Weather Service said no real respite was in sight.

The European heatwave will move eastward in the coming days and the forecasts for the weekend are insane: close to 40 °C for the Baltic Sea coast.

It's only a matter of time when the Nordic countries record their first 40 °C.

It’s 26 degrees at 11pm in The Hague this evening. The rest of the week will be well into the mid 30s, which is extremely hot for a city on the North Sea.
I lived there for six years in the 2010s and never experienced anything like this.
