You MFers just cost me a $5,000 check from Trump.

You’re telling me that an entire campaign that basically called Talarico a gay slur for 5 months at the cost of $500 million dollars didn’t work?

I hope you all are happy now, you cost me $5,000. 🥴

Donald Trump’s vanity projects cost $1.6 BILLION of YOUR taxpayer dollars.
November 3, 2026 at 3:54 PM
This is absolute insanity.

Just the seawall for Trump’s golf course will cost $304.5 million and take 2½ to 3½ years to complete. Yet they’ve conveniently omitted the total redevelopment cost, where the money will come from, and the project timeline.

Cost of extending ACA subsidies that Republicans let expire:

$30 billion/year

Cost of Trump's Iran War which Republicans have stood by and supported:

$47 billion

ACA enrollment begins today and premiums are up 15%.

It's not a question of what we can afford. It's a question of priorities.

Supporting transit is one of the best ways to attack the energy crisis head-on.

It’s not only one of the best ways to deliver structural cost of living relief, it will improve our economy and national security by insulating us from this fuel cost shock and future fuel cost shocks.
There are many opportunities on fed transportation policy. Dems will have to negotiate with GOP, but from a position of strength. They can:
—Prioritize road maintenance, not construction
—Advance major investments in transit & rail
—Develop new thinking about integrating housing & transport planning

Democrats: We can walk AND chew gum. We proved it last name. Corruption, competence & cost all matter to voters. We can, & we have to, pursue them all at once.

DEMS ALREADY IMPROVING COST OF LIVING
unless something significant changes, we could be looking at the national average price of gasoline falling below $4/gal in the next week, while diesel could fall below $6 by Thanksgiving.

the cost to fix a small problem has remained fairly stable the last 10-20 years at between $10 and $40. the cost to fix a medium sized problem in the same time frame has doubled to $500-1000. and the cost to fix a large problem has skyrocketed. and that's why I think everyone's mad at Economy
