"We need to regulate AI more" is a remarkably bipartisan position, according to this September polling data from CNN/SSRS.

Our new Democrat-controlled Congress should seize this very popular opportunity to put a muzzle and a shock-collar on big tech.

A dramatic, aggressive reform agenda, including expanding the SCt, moving toward a popular vote for president, radical expansion of voting rights (e.g., elimination of gerrymandering, a const right to vote), tenacious enforcement of antitrust law and tech reg, extensive tax reform, etc.

Headline is not wrong. Carney has:
-killed consumer carbon price, EV mandate, oil & gas emissions cap
-weakened industrial carbon price, methane reg, Clean Electricity Reg, anti-greenwashing legislation
-subsidized fossil fuels (Pacific Link pipeline, LNG, Equinor)

Ok, two further thoughts while work devices boot:
1: even if they don't find out about a reg, they probably do find out about a subsequent lawsuit.
2: that said, reg is a prereq for suit, but not for DMCA.

will take time to figure out exactly the mechanism of polling error, but a big problem is going to be that lots of pollsters were very biased in choosing their own recall target for likely voters
at SIN we used a reg voter baseline that was adjusted to 2024, but then let the LV float independently
If the final count lands at D+13 to 14, the D+9 polling average missed by 4 to 5 points, the same direction as your D+12. Was it likely-voter screens or late movement that the averages didn't catch? #Polls #Election2026
