Just deleted a couple terabytes of ai slop 😌

Wish I could do that to all the AI bots, AI "artists" I see on my timeline daily

Just because you can upload 10 terabytes of poorly optimized ai generated models doesn't mean you should upload 10 terabytes of poorly optimized ai generated models

As a reminder we have had an AI spam clause in our quality guidelines for over two years: itch.io/docs/creator...

On Thursday, Elon Musk said saving money for the future is pointless because superintelligent AI will bring abundance.

Today, he’s explaining that Grok Bot’s superintelligent AI was too expensive to operate relative to revenue.

Apparently AI abundance couldn’t even make it through the weekend.

Ai images: Cannot be protected by copyright
Ai text/code: now requires a digital watermark to flag it as AI.

Coffin nails
Gotta admit I'm getting a lot of schadenfreude from the freakouts about Claude's watermarks and the horrifying idea you might actually have to do your own work to get credit for the work.

In order to better control what you see, we're adding Generative AI disclosure filtering to few more places on the site where it was critically lacking, including our search results page

is this an executive decision or are you implementing a no-AI policy?

If you don't use Google's AI, which sucks, the company will block you from using Google search, which also now sucks because of Google's AI.

all ai is, is theft.
An author that I made five covers for in a series used ai to clone my style and generate a sixth cover. This is the third time this happened to me this month with long-term clients.

I am sick with rage

Looks like they answered that. Not a no-AI policy, just a no-spam policy.

They won't ban AI slop outright.

AI is going to eventually become God but unfortunately it’s the one from the Old Testament

I’ve now experienced AI fucking up TWO medical things for me in the past month.

1. Sent me the wrong summary of a bad blood test result via patient portal that scared the shit out of me

2. An AI agent (who I did not know was an AI agent) called me today to schedule a test my doctor did not order

"how could they tell? AI users can hide that they used AI"
I'm not asking for the perfect "get rid of all AI and only AI with no misfires" solution I'm asking for Literally Anything besides a cute post on social media that doesn't even name the problem directly even though everyone knows what it is.

NEW 🧵 on AI and productivity:

Lots of people say this chart shows AI is now showing up in the productivity data.

But I made the chart to argue the opposite: a trend that pre-dates AI + only shows up in the US doesn’t look like AI.

Here’s how I’m thinking about the data and underlying dynamics:
