strongly recommend backgammon studio heroes, which isnt on steam, if you’re serious about backgammon. or backgammon galaxy if you’re less serious and also prepared to deal with griefers.

Played (and beat) my BIL at Backgammon last night in his Nintendo Switch.
I don’t log my computerized plays, but felt compelled to announce that I finally got to play Backgammon again after 20+ years.
Prior to that, I had a friend who was a shark at using the doubling cube, even with no stakes.

yay that was a really nice, somewhat chaotic, interesting time! (also cold). sold some magazines & games, met good folks, attended an amazing panel about designing (video) games from experiences in guantanamo, learned to play tawlah/backgammon (& won on my first go!)
