Agree. I’m a bit of a weight weenie so I might try making a woven one out of dyneema paracord .

And if you embroidered your initials into it with Kevlar or dyneema thread it would be a tactical combat cargo bra

aliexpress has decided I'm into "EDC" and is now showing me this shit and I am slightly losing it. yes, please, this will go perfectly with my cordura-dyneema sailor suit and precision-cast grey enormous swirly lollipop

Like seriously. between a vintage frame pack, a Finnish military daypack, or a carbon-framed little dyneema number, one of them will definitely save me

But the sails will be made from Dyneema!

@ReggieHere Andy is certainly going to keep on u-turning. But I'm not sure how much time he has.

The pattern of the last decade is that voters seem to cut the PM quite a bit of slack. The PM gets a fair few chances to get things right.

But it's v modern rope, like spectra or dyneema, with zero […]

I'm shopping around some niche Japanese technical clothing brands and I found a hand fan made of Dyneema

I'm all packed and ready to go. But this is the heaviest pack I have carried since I went to Everest Base Camp.
The forecast is very good, so I might ditch my tarp and waterproofs.

Berd’s new Sparrow 50 Gold wheels bring a new claim to fast gravel wheels
The American-based spoke manufacturer has released a new 50 mm-depth gravel race wheel using its rope-like Dyneema spokes. The new Sparrow 50 Gold wheels feature a 30 mm internal width hooked rim and weigh just 1,298 grams for the pair in a 700c size (priced at US$2,395). Berd has also launched a 32” version of the same wheelset, priced at US$2,495 and claimed to weigh 1,541 grams. Diving deep: Reviewing Berd polymer vs steel-bladed spokesEver seen those white spokes on Pidcock’s or Ferrand-Prévot Olympic-winning bikes and wondered what they’re all about? I wanted to answer the same question for myself.Escape CollectiveDave Rome The wheels are built around Berd’s new Talon ESL-R hub, a lightweight ratchet-driven hub with the company’s ESL Hook Flange that provides equal spoke lengths across a given wheelset. Berd claims the wheels are the smoothest-riding race wheelset, which in turn, is said to make them the fastest over off-road terrain. To explain such a claim, Berd has released a white paper proposing an updated method for modelling product performance, one that adds impact and vibration reductions into the usual equation that includes metrics such as aerodynamics, weight, rolling resistance, and bearing efficiency. _Escape Collective_ plans to cover this subject in more detail.
