You're warm. The solution is UNIONS. Every restriction on athlete-employees that the employees haven't agreed to is an unlawful restraint of trade and will get overturned in the first law suit brought.

Um, if you mean John Adams, it was still a colony then.
If you mean that there was competition between the early US & the Caribbean islands in the sugar trade (the 2nd most lucrative transAtlantic trade), sugar wasn't widely grown here then.
Slave ships generally called 1st in Havana en route to US.

but my main concern after the Zeitler signing is the running game. the 31st ranked team in the league is at 81 yards rushing a game....guess where the Packers sit at 32nd....48 Yards rushing a game. that's a freaking gulf. trade for a RB or give Kaleb Johnson more carries. you have to try.

That's reassuring, and the US-Americans I personally know are aware, too. The trouble is that those Dems that are visible (in DC; Govenors) seem to be mostly totally oblivious about it. There's so little pushback to Trump's foreign policies and trade policies that it will be hard to patch, let

I personally agree with moving on from Seiya. (To break patterns, you have to “break patterns”.)

But it’s always tiresome for the poor #Cubs front office to whine about how much free agents cost.

The 2029 PCA trade request is gonna be fire.

The trade-off is sharp: acting too early could weaken the pressure markets put on governments to control their finances, while waiting could let the sell-off feed on itself.

The utility of having to milk only a single, Uhlein-shaped cow becomes clear.

Of course you'd have to sell your soul... but life's about trade-offs, isn't it?

Stop loss trade confirmations are fun. It's like, "hey, you just lost money, but probably less than you would have!" Not sure how to feel in such cases

For journal reviews, can the assistant link each observation back to the original trade and note? Being able to check the evidence seems especially useful when separating a repeated habit from a one-off mistake.

In this scenario, NMC's or NTC's are meant to stop Management from moving players without consent or to desirable locations. Which I think is completely legitimate. However, I don't think they were designed to hold teams hostage with trade requests with limited to no options. Imo.

I had no idea! My value MVP was definitely Messick, but he was probably too good for your prompt. Easily could have gone either way as pitchability guys have to be extraordinary to be anything other than interchangeable. In 2025, I dangled both him and Jonah Tong, and Tong had way more trade value.

So Ibiza takes its name from a Phoenician deity called Yboshim and was a strategically important stop on many ancient trade routes.....

Don't trade a SP, that's your strength. I don't think you can trade a big contract either.

Trading someone like Brandon Marsh will be the tell. You may not get a ton back for him as he's close to FA and coming off a putrid 2nd half, but that's the kind of stuff I'm talking about.

Phillies offseason plan:

1) Resign Arraez for more years than he’d get on the market so the deadline trade can be justified.

2) Pay an aging Arozarena for his career year as a touching tribute to Castellanos.

3) Trade Marsh for a RP whos arm explodes from overuse by September.
The Phillies have run out of excuses. Four straight years of postseason regression, an aging core and a roster that keeps falling short.

Dave Dombrowski has some massive decisions to make. Even Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber should be on the table.

These Phillies can’t get it done. It’s time for dramatic action (Gift Article)
After a frustrating playoff exit, this much is clear: Dave Dombrowski cannot bring back the same club.
