Ah, the VR episode; as much as I love the Riddler as a villain, this one was just goofy.
I forgot how obsessed comic book properties were with virtual reality back in the 90s; 30 years later, how much has really changed?

DC’s Gods Don’t Belong on Live Action Screens. They Never Did.
Supergirl's box office collapse isn't a creative failure. It is the latest evidence of the DC gods live action animation problem — a structural issue that animation solved thirty years ago. Supergirl closed its theatrical run at $125.8 million worldwide against a $290 million combined production and marketing spend. Lower than Morbius. Lower than Joker 2. The worst DC theatrical result in decades.

In one of the most calooh callay pieces of casting ever, Roddy McDowall, (who played Bookworm in the 60's series, read the audiobook for Tim Burton's Batman & even played the March Hare in Irwin Allen's 1985 production of Alice in Wonderland), is utterly magnificent as the Hatter
