I met a lovely lady at the track this morning. At 68 years old, she'd just lost her husband who'd she been caring for. She's now made a decision to do something for herself and started running every morning. Her plan is to get a little fitter and then join our athletics club as a veteran. #running

A very lovely surprise on our run this morning. Was headed to one of my favorite sunrise spots and this heron was already there and I was lucky not to startle it. 🏃♂️➡️🌅🪶

Race Day today! Garmin (new since July) predicted I could run the half marathon in 2.05 and I came in at 2.02 - just happy to have survived my 1st (paid for) race in my new age category which ends in a 0! (& happy with 4th in that category) #running #halfmarathon

#5KADay 807/808+ #running ~9km Fri & ~7km Saturday. No detailed pics yet-bsky is super glitchy. 6’14” pace Friday, 6’25” pace Saturday. It’s been pretty out, kinda gusty, a child got so excited seeing me🏃♀️he ran straight at me giggling & clapping. Maybe his other parent is a runner 🤣 #runchat #runsky
