I wanna go live right now doing art but the neighbors below me are having a collective freak out and the one next to me has a BF there, who's not supposed to be there, having his daily temper tantrum. I'm looking into soundproofing panels. #artistissues #apartmentlife

I made a little tutorial on how to organize your marker/art supply collection into a color reference sheet (color heart because we 💜 colors).

I'm trying to re-sort my marker palette in a way that makes logical sense *and* has similar colors next to each other. It's surprisingly difficult, particularly sorting in the greys. #art #artistissues

I wish FT digital artists talked about how they cope with print preparation. I would like to know, on average, how many days pass between the first test print and the last mental breakdown while fighting colour profiles. #isitjustme #cmyk #ipadart #printing ##artistissues #procreate #digitalart

I'm beginning to understand why dip pens are sold in bulk... #artistissues The tip goes dull over time and it kind of bends out of shape until you can't make a fine stroke anymore, and what's even worse, the ink doesn't flow consistently anymore.

One of the weird things about getting out of the hospital and being an artist is looking at the technicolor of bruising and going "I should take photos to save this color palette for later" #surgeryrecovery #artistissues

I thought artsy people even dress artsy don't judge. I was offended by one of the women saying something out of my name behind my back. I never expected this would happen to me at the art store.

It's not perfect, I made a few mistakes in coloring it, and it seems like some of my swatches were either mislabeled or faded, but IT'S SO CUTE and not bad for a first attempt.
Now all that's left is to label it 💜 #colorpalette #artistissues

The flip side of the hobby is when the first markers you use a lot start running dry and you have to buy new ones... I'm beginning to understand why alcohol markers are such an expensive medium. #artistissues

Feels good to have colored something, but it's sooo exhausting. I don't know what it is about color work that toasts my brain #artistissues

As an artist that doesn't paint nor sculpt, it’s a special moment when you can describe how and what you do, and why in 30 seconds—and the listener understands it. Yesterday, I officially left my thats-a-vague-artist era. 🙆🏻♀️

Y’know, I return to college in not even a week. I havent drawn a single bit. I’ve wanted to, deeply, but I just can’t do it. I havent been able to since starting my degree.
I want to draw for myself again. #mentalhealth #artistissues

Dear @hbomax.bsky.social
I’d like to be a voice for all #artists here.
Can you PLEASE make an adjustment so the videos playing Picture in Picture on the IPAD auto play.
I like to watch videos while drawing but #adventuretime is 11mins long affecting my workflow.
