I left Central when it was a lovely warm and sunny 23° C (73° F), and 2 hours later I arrived in Katoomba where it was 11° C (52° F) - plus windchill that made it feel much colder. Thank goodness I wore my little woollen vest!

Gosh, we’re really lucky here in Sydney.

To have these beautiful mountains, Jurassic-Triassic geology and a world-heritage listed rainforest just 1.5 hours from the city centre.
