The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)
After listening to the sound track all day, I had to rewatch it.

Brad and Janet run into trouble on their honeymoon - a flat tire, and the only place in sight is the castle of the lovely Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

Don't be shy-who else loves this movie?

Oh my stars.
Frankenstein (2025) is amazing.
I'm... in awe.
This was fantastic, this is why I love movies. An adaptation of my favorite book. At a loss for words.

Who else loved this one? Let's share some of that.

You know what I feel needs more love?
Dr. Sleep (2019)

Ewan McGregor is such a fun presence, and Rebecca Ferguson as Rose the Hat has got to be a horror movie all time villain.

The House on Haunted Hill (1959)

What a banger. I love this film, this is a comfort watch for me. Some true scream queens, jump scares, and Vincent Price being an absolute king.

Also famous for 'Emergo' the wire-pulled skeleton. No one did it like William Castle lol.
Any other fans?

Oh, also in recent movie news, I got some friends of mine to watch both the original of The Blob and the 80s version.

They liked them both! Still crowd pleasers to this day, even if the original has like 40 year olds pretending to be high schoolers.

Frankenhooker (1990)
What makes a movie become a true film? Frank Henenlotter knows, and he puts it on screen.

Okay, forgive me for this one but I love Frankenhooker. Its the perfect amount of schlock and horror. Really, the plot's in the title.

Who else has seen this one?
Any love?

Time for a new year and old classics!

#nowwatching Evil Dead (1981)

What a film. Sam Raimi started as he meant to go on, and like any horror film junkie, this movie has a special place in my heart.
Also staring Bruce Campbell, self proclaimed greatest actor in the world.
Hey, I won't fight that.

In the Mouth of Madness (1994)
Oh, f📕k yeah.
This is the highlight of Carpenter's 90s career. This one is an all timer.

A film that asks, what's it like to lose your mind? What if reality was as thin as parchment, and as fragile?
What if Stephen King was God and everyone hated him?

#nowwatching Duel (1971)
Yeah, early Spielberg rules. 'Jaws' with a truck is thrown around a lot (deservedly so) but this film is a lot more than that.
And to have the truck and its dricer be such a brutal force... Love it.
A film on masculinity, on violence inherit in vehicles. Machete's up. 🔪🔪🔪

The Fog (1980)
"Eleven fifty-five... almost midnight. Enough time for one more story."

What a classic. John Carpenter does it again. This is the definitive ghost story movie for me. Moody atmosphere, an all star cast, and a lived-in town full of local eccentrics.
Machetes up for this🔪🔪

#nowwatching Event Horizon (1997)
Oh f🌌k yeah, time for some scifi horror. This movie rules. Seen it so many times.
Sam Neill is my top "Guy I Love to See(tm)" in movies. Eye trauma, space trauma, and an amazing set piece with the spinning blades and rotating core. Who else loves this one?
