I've had lots of Southern Green Shieldbugs, Nezara viridula, in the garden this year but fewer now the weather is colder, so I was surprised to find one on a dried up bit of onion at the back of the fridge! 🧅😆

Eurydema ornata is a native #Shieldbug species (this one is the pale form adult)
There are very few local records, only four in East Sussex!
