I was afraid their breeding had not been succesful, but today mama woodpecker brought her offspring to our balcony. She showed how to crack the nuts, seeds and suet balls and from that moment on the kid was on its own. 🪶 #greatspottedwoodpecker #grotebontespecht #wildlifeNL
