Considering that everyone (except our elites) sees the US as a failed state we need to deinvest from I highly doubt it. The global ecomoy _will_ break, and the US will get the worst of it. The age of the US as a superpower is over. All the soft power is gone, and the hard power is useless

Excellent thread. I hope the government become more confident in their approach to aligning / joining the EU. There are gooc argumentx for it, for our ecomoy, growth and security.
Could we not have done negotiations with China, India, the Gulf while an EU member. They will drive a hard bargian.
