Man, as someone who has had to manage a team of inbetweeners and knows how badly poorly done inbetweens can ruin a shot, this just gives me a headache.

It's not necessarily the best for what it offers in some cases... animating is better done in CaCANI or Toon Boom etc elsewhere, for example. But at least you can go with continuous tone coloring instead of single colors like many of the other animation software goes for.

It also does not explain if it is gen AI or not (You can not legally claim copyright or ownership over gen AI works).

Vector Interpolation (like Cacani) is already used by some studios (Trigger for ex.)
Could AI further improve this and perhaps lift some of the costs and stress off of animators who could then focus on the key frames and special shots? Is that in turn worth the costs / resources?

CACANi is actually epic and I'm sad bc i dont have money.
It's very user-friendly, much more than opentoonz. even the drawing is smoother, it feels much more easy to get good results.
I'm gonna spend my money on it as soon as I can and have time ùwú
