A poem I wrote for Aerith Gainsborough's birthday titled Local Florist first half It says "Flowers in bloom Adorn the way But have not a lot to say And the land of promise sends out a call To only those who hear it Lost in the forest still deep in slumber A memory of the ones that came before To set it all free A holy light to save from darker days But in her corner she waters the plants Unaware of such a fate And in her smile holds the hope of a simple life outside a cage And with each step a boldness forms to shake free from the fear To seek beyond the wall A freedom oh so rare" A poem I wrote for Aerith second half. It says "Casually she ties her hair With a ribbon that holds her secret Under her feet the earth glows green Above her head An open sky Full of promise and despair But within her a fury and will so strong Her eyes on the path unswayed As she marches on that uneven road And sells her flowers for the day" End
