I haven’t listened to it yet. Academic articles take forever to go through a process, so this was mostly written in early 2025. I saw that episode came out pretty recently, but didn’t have time to listen to it. There was a whole lot more to say about current 09A and NSBM.

A second reason I suggested 9:09a was in homage to the Roland TR-909 drum machine.

Only a bit of it is about O9A actually… I ran out of space and it wasn’t my specialty …a lot of it is about Nazi-Satanism’s origins in the 70s and 80s which is the context that 09A came out of, and a bunch of other questions that often don’t get addressed about Satanism & national socialism

Good read. That’s interesting to see that atomwaffen never really went away. I think 09A might be a bunch of edge-lords - from what I understand 2 have gotten convicted of murder in the UK. Atomwaffen has killed 5 people in the US -mostly acquaintances. It’s just a matter of time though. It seems

Having a deep interest in cults and anticult activists for many years the sex rats somewhat scare me. Not 09a scary but plenty of Synanon or even Heavens Gate starting to show up in how they think act and are led. This is a thing beyond all the sexual violence in the cult.
some middle rat history, w/clarifications:
1) I should have titled my previous "AI Safety Is Mostly A Sex Cult In Berkeley, California" so people would stop arguing with me about people who aren't in Berkeley, California.
2) The sex cult part of this is both predatory and integral to what they do.
