Texas geography favors Dems—I estimate gerrymandering cost them ~10 seats statewide:
2 in Austin’s suburbs
2 in Houston’s suburbs
6 in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs
Many folks are considering only the 6 seats the GOP failed to win—not how many more they should’ve lost when getting routed statewide
