105 - CHIKEN STAR: Chisato ( #Suikoden V)
V is gonna be very overrepresented in this project, but it's because even extremely minor recruits get SOMETHING to do, SOME characterization. Chisato's one of the weirder recruits and i love her for that.
a digital drawing of Chisato from Suikoden V, pictured as a young brunette woman with a worried expression, holding and appearing to converse with a pair of hand puppets resembling the Prince and Princess Lymsleia

103 - CHISOU STAR: Urda ( #Suikoden V)
finally, your obligatory hippie environmentalist recruit is someone who just straight-up hates humanity! also why is her outfit so goddamn detailed, this is after simplifying a LOT
a digital drawing of Urda from Suikoden V, here pictured as an angry blonde elf young woman carrying a protest sign reading, in large red handwritten text, "END ALL HUMANS"

#108artsofdestiny 106 - CHIMOU STAR: Templeton (Suikoden I-II)
he's just a cute little nugget
a digital drawing of Templeton from Suikoden I/II, here pictured as a tween boy, blue-eyed with blond hair in a blunt chin-length bob, in a baggy beige sweater and brimless blue hat, smiling excitedly down at a weathered old map he grips tightly in his hands

104 - CHIRETSU STAR: Goro ( #Suikoden III)
have you seen this guy's full character portrait? what's he doing out here with all that ass
a digital drawing of Goro from Suikoden III, pictured here as a sun-dappled ambiguously Japanese young man with short hair, a blue and white shirt, and yellow shorts, and he is examining a tree trunk thoughtfully. also he's caked up.

#108artsofdestiny 107 - CHIZOKU STAR: Roy (Suikoden V)
no character in this series turned my opinion of them around like Roy did. that one optional route? with the arrows? whoever wrote that is not seeing heaven
a digital drawing of Roy the bandit from Suikoden V, pictured here as a young man with long chestnut hair, wearing a dark blue sleeveless ninja-esque jumpsuit, matching opera-length fingerless gloves, fringed tan boot covers, a utility belt, a yellow neckerchief, and a crown, seated on top of a treasure chest filled with gold coins and jewels. he looks at the viewer with his cheek propped against one fist, a slightly pouty expression of tired annoyance on his face.

#108artsofdestiny 108 - CHIKOU STAR: Gordon (Suikoden III)
starting strong with "guy i picked because he has the best character design of anyone with this Star". i only remember that this dude was really fixated on "gentlemen" but you could recruit him with Chris? sure.
a digital drawing of Gordon from Suikoden III, pictured here as a middle-aged man with dark hair and a fancy suit and ascot, holding a brandy glass and carafe, smirking at the viewer with one eyebrow raised exaggeratedly

bringing this over here now --
inspired by the (at the time impending) release of Eiyuden Chronicle and the remaster of Suikoden I & II, i started an art project/challenge thing ~for myself~ wherein i'm attempting to draw (at least) one character for every Star of Destiny: #108artsofdestiny
