I am confident that UI, menus, on screen information, lobby design, basically every other tertiary element has a vastly greater impact on toxicity than any gameplay mechanic could ever craft. "OW is 6v6 while TF2 is 12v12 which" I promise you matchmaking and no server menu + ranking is the problem.

Yeah, the issues with today’s PvP and even back then is too much pressure and too competitive for it’s own good.
Chaotic higher player count per server (12v12 like TF2 as an example) could help with diversify the PvP, but alas.
I stick with PvE anyways.

I very selfishly changed my mind about 12v12.
What I appreciate most about my favourite MK8 team, FH, is that everyone really likes everyone and there's never a bad vibe in the team.
I don't want us to be forced to recruit to make 12v12 work. I only wanna play with my closest friends!

I miss bigger non-linear maps with 12v12/16v16 teams, where you *could* strategize but also casually fuck around and do your own thing
The drift towards 6v6, lane based, hyper-competitive hard counters and live service grind is getting kinda tiring

First match on Rush on BF6 and i am honestly disappointed it's seen as a small scale 12v12 again. I'm sorry but Bad company 2 and Bf3 Rush was just the best. Breakthrough isn't hitting nearly the same as that. But Rush is still fun for what it is.
