My new 10GHz masthead TVTR is finally taking shape. All the individual modules are working. RX / TX tested, working with 144MHz IF, currently 1.5W output. Now to shoehorn everything into the enclosure. Metal “bashing”, my least favourite part of any project. 😊

Mistä lapasesta? 😆 Oikealta 23cm (1200MHz), 2 x 70cm (433MHz), 2m (144MHz), 4m (70MHz) ja uusimpana modifioitu 6m (50MHz). 6m ja 23cm:iin pitää vielä tehdä antennit, muutoin täysin toimivat 25-35W vekottimet kaikenlaiseen yhteydenpitoon ☺️

Made good progress on the 2nd homebrew 10GHz TVTR this weekend. Old school modular approach, based on W1GHZ + G3WDG designs with new PMA5-123-3W MMIC PA. TX path above deck, LO, VRegs, sequencer and RX plus LNA below.
144MHz IF, 2.5W out on 10368MHz.

For my portable 439MHz LoRa APRS tracker I have reused the waterproof box that originally contained a Byonics 144MHz tracker.
I had lost interest in APRS on 2m due to poor coverage, but for now, low power LoRa is holding my attention 🙂
