I finally finished painting my 1490 Doom terrain. Love the amount of verticality this game fits in such a small play space. I tried to keep it dark and moody but in the end I added bright flowers because I can’t stand looking at too much dull terrain… my apocalypse is full of flowers.

Got my #1490Doom starter box and have it all assembled and primed. Never worked with this material before. Smells of burnt pine. I’ll need a wood varnish but past that, there’s not much let to fo with the tower. All that remains is these characters and giving them life. Gonna do them in reds.

We have ordered the starter box for #1490Doom. Hopefully we'll be able to play this without the core rulebook. That will come later. We'll go through the box when it arrives to see if it has everything we'll need to play with our friend.

The 1490 Doom starter set just arrived. It was very easy to set up and assemble. Looking forward to playing my first learning games tonight and then tackle the solo campaign next week.

Trench Crusade remains the last I will stick to that was recommended by a friend. I have worked too hard to get a local scene going for it.

In OTHER exciting news Buer Games - #1490doom - have got an EU retail partner, Mindwork Games. This means we'll also be getting Carnivore when that gets a physical release
