I couldn't live w/o my red Porter Cable pancake air compressor. I use it for 50 different niche things (including powering a nail gun) that it's perfectly suited for.
Its footprint is only about 17x17 and I have it sitting on a shelf under my garage workbench. Still works great at 20-plus y.o.
