#Jacktober Day 11, Movie 24.

An underrated #UniversalMonsters gem, I'm always surprised #WerewolfofLondon doesn't get more love. The monster makeup rocks, #HenryHull is good, and it features my favorite #WarnerOland performance.

Another yearly #UniversalMonsters rewatch, #Dracula holds up 94(!) years later on the strength of #BelaLugosi's performance, one of the most influential ever put to film.

#Jacktober Day 12, Movie 29. A #firsttimewatch.

#TheMostDangerousGame was allegedly the Zodiac's favorite movie, & thus made sense as a chaser after that.

This was strong, too - a taut thriller from the same team that made #KingKong 1 year later.

#Jacktober Day 10, Movie 21.

#IslandofLostSouls: easily the best #IslandofDrMoreau film adaptation, maybe the best non-Universal horror of the '30s. More menacing & influential than you probably remember.
