One of my favourite live albums to add to the #1980AlbumChallenge. "Paris" by #Supertramp was released as a double album a year after the twenty-million selling "Breakfast in America"!

Some albums warrant you buying an 180 gram remastered version with bonus tracks. Case in point, #BlackSabbath "Heaven and Hell" featuring one Ronnie James Dio supplanting Ozzy as the singer.

As part of the #1980AlbumChallenge I am commencing, dropping the needle on "Permanent Waves". A change in direction after the 70s with more synthesizer and shorter tracks.
The entire #Rush catalogue on vinyl has seen a spike in value as new generations become fans. One of my favourites for sure.

Continuing with the #1980AlbumChallenge as I rediscover albums I haven't played in ages! Here is "Audio-Visions" by #Kansas. I don't believe this has been played in over 40 years as it didn't fare well next to their classics "Leftoverture" or "Point of Know Return".

#1980AlbumChallenge Yet another #JoyDivision maxi-single released from 1980. These are sought after 12" singles by the groundbreaking group featuring the late Ian Curtis. I recollect paying about $5 back in the day and they fetch a whole more than that 45 years later.

Yet another great album for the #1980AlbumChallenge! "The Game" by arena rockers #Queen gave us "Another One Bites The Dust", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and"Save Me". For me though, the funky "Dragon Attack" will always be my favourite deep cut by the band.
