Incise oranges & lemons. Stuff with cloves. Roast.
Meanwhile boil 1pint water with ginger, mace, cinnamon, all spice until reduced.

Iron Gall Ink. These little spheres grow on oak trees. Collect in Autumn, crush, add 1pint rain water and seal in a jar for a week to steep. Filter and add a few rusty nails, leave for another week.
Then add 2 tablespoons of gum Arabic and hey Presto.

No real recipe, I use drained jar red peppers if not got any to roast, 2 med sweet potato chunked smallish, garlic crushed, onion powder-1tsp, paprika-2 tsp and hot smoked paprika 1-tsp, good handful quinoa and 1pint veg stock. Cook til softened then blend. I’m an instinct cook never the same twice
