Modern satellites (even just using RF) - let alone Laser - can do upwards of 1Tbps per second.

So once they manage to replace everything already in the sky they'll have 1Tbps of throughput to split between all of the users in the coverage radius of one satt? This still seems like way too low for any sort of density considering it needs to pay for constant rocket launches

スペースXは次世代通信衛星スターリンクV３の実運用軌道への投入計画を進めており、衛星の通信容量の大幅な拡大を予定しています。
スターリンクV３は衛星１機当たり下り１Tbps、上り１６０Gbpsの容量を持ち、宇宙レーザーや刷新されたアンテナシステムを搭載します。
この次世代衛星は大型ロケットのスターシップによる大量輸送を前提として設計されており、従来のファルコン９による打ち上げと比べて通信容量を飛躍的に増加させることができます。
計画されているスターシップのフライト１４ではV３衛星の実運用軌道への投入が報じられていますが、打ち上げ日時はまだ正式に発表されていません。
V３の導入後も既存のV１やV２世代の衛星は当面の間併用され、段階的にコンステレーションの再編が進められる方針です。
すべての利用者が直ちにギガビット級の速度を利用できるわけではなく、実効速度は提供されるサービスプランや地域の混雑状況などによって異なります。
