Right now I have a 2Gbps gfiber connection and a 1Gbps Brightspeed connection load balanced. I'd probably switch the config to make the 1Gbps a failover connection if I went with 8Gbps.

Found it was the ethernet cable itself.

It will never not blow my mind that I can browse the web with an M1 Max MacBook Pro with 64gb of ram and 1gbps wired internet and still have web pages take forever to load. We have lost our way as an industry.

My fiber connection is now faster than any NIC in my house (3 gig symmetrical) and I’m getting nearly 1Gbps down on WiFi lol
