#9 of 2025 Completions is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. There isn't much I can say that hasn't been said. Beyond any gameplay or graphics, this game made me feel deeply, and I love it for that. If you haven't played it, sit down and give it your time. I don't think you'll regret it.

#5 of 2025 Completions is Suikoden HD. I played Suikoden yearly from 1996 to 2020. It was great to revisit it with a shiny new coat of pain and some minor tweaks. It's still one of my favorite PS1 games of all time.

Finished on 2/18/25.
Saw Mikey video about this mod recently that takes Pokemon Emerald & gives it a gen 2 aesthetic, along with a bunch of modern amenities, and was intrigued. And highkey, it was fantastic! Deffo recommend and will try more romhacks.

The #Switch2 has really transformed Gen 9 into something completely new. The better FPS and reduced glitches are what we've always deserved to have. This Steel monotype was good, this was a decent team. Empoleon looks great

Man. What an unexpected delight. With the trailer last year I thought "oh that looks neat" but I didn't expect it to feel like fucking PSYCHONAUTS. Not only in gameplay but in heart & creativity, but with a Southern flair. Fantastic game.

What a birthday present this game is for me. I went on a rollercoaster ride here, started not feeling it, then got really into it, went into a lull for a while, and then finished EXTREMELY strong and assuaged all my concerns I'd had.

Finished on 3/11/25.
Okay, NOW I have it out of my system. Lae'Zel origin was much less fleshed out than Karlach's so I'm not expecting the other origins to be on mama K's level. Still, fantastic game. Just truly excellent, even with it's flaws.

On this run I tried new things- went out of my way to play through completely modless, did an origin run for the first time (HIGHLY recommend), & did the Underdark, which was really great despite some BS lol. Excellent game.

Man. The story in this game is basically nothing BUT god damn if the gameplay loop isn't addictive as hell. And it's Vanillaware, so gorgeous art. Was my runner-up for 2024 GOTY, and I reaffirmed that here. Great game, highly recommend.
