Hi fella
Is #21stCenturyJesus your # ?
I’d like to make some memes of these sayings and want to attribute them correctly…

‘You have heard it said, “Charity begins at home,” but I say to you, beware those who say this but secretly mean, “Charity ends at home.” Let your charity be as wide as the ocean, as deep as the sea, and give freely to those in need as I give freely to you.’

Hi Andrew — I can’t claim exclusive rights to #21stCenturyJesus but yes, I coined it for these sayings: please feel to reuse ♻️ 🙌

‘You have heard it said, “Zionism is Racism”, but I say to you that any ideology that exalts itself at the expense of others has no place in God’s Kingdom. For I came not to restore the kingdom to Israel but to restore Israel to the Kingdom of God, and with it the whole world.

“You have heard it said, ‘Stop the boats,’ but I say to you, welcome the boats and provide homes for the refugees they bring. Whoever welcomes such as these welcomes me, for I too was a refugee whose family fled from a bloodthirsty tyrant.”

‘You have heard it said, “Stop the boats” but I say to you, welcome the strangers in your midst, for whoever welcomes such as these welcomes me: I too was a refugee fleeing from a violent tyrant. Blessed are those who welcome refugees in my name.’

You have heard it said, “Protect free speech,” but I say to you, practice love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control, for then your speech will bring freedom to all who you meet: let my Spirit reign in your heart and I will give you true freedom.

You have heard it said, “The more you spend, the more you save,” but I say to you, spending and saving are futile without treasure in heaven. This treasure can never be bought or sold, it is only gained by grace. Let my grace grow in you and give freely as you have freely received.

You have heard it said, “Take 10,000 steps a day,” but I say to you that the steps that truly count are those that bring you closer to the poor, the weak and the vulnerable, for by walking with these you walk with me, and by walking with me you help to bring heaven down to earth.

Further, I tell you, might without compassion & mercy is meaningless. Therefore show compassion & mercy in all you do. Again I say, do not fear those who abuse their power. My Father has seen their evil: unless they repent, they shall have no place at his table in the age to come.
#21stCenturyJesus

You have heard it said, “Might is right,” but I say to you that might has no rights & no power except that granted by my Father. Therefore I tell you, don’t be afraid of those who can harm your body but cannot touch your soul. Be brave, little flock, for I have defeated the world.

You have heard it said, “Charity begins at home,” but I say to you that true charity reaches out to strangers and welcomes outsiders, for this is why I came into the world and why I send you into the world as refugees and strangers bearing my name and my love for all.

You have heard it said, “America first” and “Make America Great Again” but I say to you that the first shall be last & those who exalt themselves shall be thrown down, their thrones trampled into the dust, for such is the will of my Father in heaven who raises up the poor and lowly

You have heard it said, “Put Christ back into Christmas,” but I say to you, “Put the human back into humanity,” for I come amongst you not waving a flag but as a helpless baby, as a refugee fleeing a murderous king. Blessed are those who welcome such as these, for they welcome me.
#21stCenturyJesus

You have heard it said, “Stop the boats,” but I say to you, “Send the boats.” Send big boats to rescue and save, to make the small boats unnecessary. For evil is not defeated by evil but by goodness, kindness and mercy: blessed are those who welcome refugees, for they welcome me.

You have heard it said, “Do not feed the trolls,” but I say to you, “Do not feed the algorithms,” for all the algorithms want is your rage, and with it they will consume your soul. Blessed are they who defeat the algorithms with love, for their lives shall show the Reign of God.
