On some GPUs (eg GCN/RDNA) 24bit integer muls/mads are 4x faster than 32bit ones. 24bit instructions are not exposed in HLSL/GLSL but you can encourage the compiler to use the 24bit intrinsics by zeroing the 8 most significant bits, if the range allows it, for faster integer muls/mads.

Really glad I went back to Tidal for my music streaming. Listening to Aquemini by OutKast in 24bit studio quality on decent monitors. It’s sublime

I ran the "Velvet Sundown - Dust and Silence" album in both CD quality and 24bit/96kHz. Both passed transcode detection.
Every single track returned AI detection with 100% confidence on my AI detection algorithm chain. I have a module that detects which model was used, and all of them were Suno.

Here’s my recordings from every Phish show in 2024 (except Mexico). They’re all made with Schoeps CMC6/MK4 cardioid microphones > Sound Devices 744T. I have included both 16bit and 24bit versions. Starting in 2025 I’ll no longer be doing 16bit versions.

Välillä pitää muistuttaa korvia, miltä musiikin pitäisi oikeasti kuulostaa. Harmillisesti 192kHz/24bit DVD-Audio -kiekkoja on kovin vähän, sen sijaan streamingpalvelut tarjoavat lähinnä artifaktimössöä.
