Allow me to drag everyone back down to REALITY. The #24HourEconomicBoycott is something that makes you feel good deep down, but it is a STUNT. First, people likely stocked up either today or tomorrow. Second, this isn't going to make a DENT in corporations' bottom line. It just ISN'T. 1/

To quote Sean Connery's character in The Untouchables, "You must be prepared to go all the way." 1 day isn't going to do it. Nor 3 days. Even a WEEK. This has to be long term. Penny to a pound very few can do it.
And just one more thing: SOCIAL MEDIA IS NOT REAL LIFE. #24HourEconomicBoycott 2/2

So I'm seeing corporate reactions to this #economicboycott right in my emails and texts today. Last minute 50% off fast food offers for just today. #24houreconomicboycott

I'm using this time on the #24houreconomicboycott to cancel a ton of my Amazon subscribe and save reoccurring purchases. Luckily Safeway has gotten better with their app for parking space pick up. Sometimes I need to not go inside a store.

We MUST elect Democrats in all special elections and send a clear message to #PresidentMusk and Mad King Donald and their oligarch supporters. Their time is over.
