"RemoveWindowsAI" is a script created by zoicware, available on GitHub, that does exactly what it says: it remove every AI feature in Windows 11. Do what you wish to do with this information. I'm sharing this because some folks are forced to use Win11 at work or other places for any reasons.

There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security.
Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation."
TURN IT OFF.

Okay, buuuut this isn't as good as Adobe is presenting.
"Maintenance mode" essentially means they'll provide security fixes for existing operating systems. So Windows 11 should be fine, right?
Except ... which Windows 11?
24H2? 25H2? 26H2?
And what about Windows 12?

Adobe appears to have reversed course on this. Animate is safe, at least for the immediate future.

(The actual Windows 11 Version 25H2 Update aka Windows 11 2025 Update totally isn't a regular cumulative update disguised as a "feature update" that simply changes the reported version number from 24H2 to 25H2 and build number from 26100 to 26200)
