Finally completed my first pair of socks 2AAT on two circular needles. “Smell My Feet” yarn by Legacy Fiber Artz. They feel wonderful. Still need to tweak the cuff and toe decreases to perfect the fit of the next pair. #knitsky #knittingfeed #socks #yarn @legacyfiberartz.bsky.social

Sock Update: Ankles done. I've stopped doing 2aat with magic loop and am now switching socks after each motif. You can probably see the bump that happened early for not getting the tension right. Now, I can either cuff them or start increasing for my calf. #showmeyourknits #knitsky

Realized after a 2-wk break that the number of heel flap stitches are wrong on one sock (knitting 2aat) 🤦🏻♀️ Trying to fix by moving stitches to another needle, adding a lifeline to frog back to, and just keeping things untangled 😂 🧶

Finally got my 80cm circular needles. Still not a fan of magic loop on them, but now that I have 2 sets of both sizes, I'm able to use the 60cm together with the 80 to still do 2aat, so I got my second pair of socks cast on and a few rows of ribbing done tonight. #knitsky #showmeyourknits

2nd sock just needs to sewn closed at the toe! #knitsky I made some adjustments from the pattern, namely making it wider to better fit my feet, and opting for a different shape for the toe. @natorijen.bsky.social I have needles and yarn on order for my next pair to be 2aat, so pattern links pls!

Knitting cast-on gods were not with me today: tail was too short for long-tailed cast-on (3 times! 🤦🏻♀️) , forgot to bring my 2nd ball to cast on socks 2AAT, and managed somehow to get the working yarn caught between the cable and the magic loop divide (how??). Am giving up for the day 😂 🧶

Knitting cast-on gods were not with me today: tail was too short for long-tailed cast-on (3 times! 🤦🏻♀️) , forgot to bring my 2nd ball to cast on socks 2AAT, and managed somehow to get the working yarn caught between the cable and the magic loop divide (how??). Am giving up for the day 😂 🧶
And I don’t remember who mentioned a shadow wrap heel. It’s my fav now for 2aat. Toe up.

I hated them, too. I always do socks on 2 24" circs. If I'm doing 2aat, I use 32" circs.

Current #knitting 🧶 wip All Cooped Up by Caitlin Shephard. 2aat sleeves and first time ladderback jacquard. Feet were supposed to be duplicate stitch but I hate that so I sort figured out a way to do it without that. Looks a bit wonky but I think it's ok

Made it past the chaotic heel! My pattern was written for one sock - magic loop and I decided to do two at a time. I’m loving how these are turning out. Onward and toeward!

My first pair of socks since... half a year?
I have heaps of half done projects, that require _thinking_ before knitting on. My only few working brain cells still can't manage overstimulation without falling into coma again.
So posting will be slow and sporadic.

There are some patterns using this same method, on RAV; this is for a fairly vanilla sock; but she has a cable and lace version too- all created 2aat using DoubleKnitting *method* (not yarn) of one inside the other 😍🧦 Wowee! Am inspired… 🤗
